Job Title: MS Transition Portfolio Lead Senior Manager
Job Summary: The MS Transition Architect Lead is responsible for leading transition strategy, planning, and implementation for Managed Services deals for the following portfolios:
- Risk and Fin Crime,
- Grants & Learning Managed Services,
- Tech, Cyber and Point Solutions,
- TFO, GCR, Payroll & Mobility,
- ESG and Sustainability,
- Finance Managed Services .
Essential Functions of the Job:
- Lead transition strategy, planning, and implementation for Managed Services deals for their portfolio.
- Ensure the safe landing of deals by overseeing all transition activities.
- Apply EY standard, methodologies and frameworks to transition processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the transition process.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Engages with customers to sell the deal to emphasise the value of transition solution to the client using effective storytelling during orals and then once the deal is in execution uses effective storytelling for governance
- Effectively run governance for their group and in partnership with other portfolio leads to confirm alignment with people, process, and technology vison of the Transition function
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:
- Analyse transition requirements and develop comprehensive strategies.
- Make decisions on the best approach to implement transition plans.
- Evaluate and select appropriate methodologies and frameworks for transitions.
- Develop industry leading transition techniques powered by AI and digital tools.
Supervision Responsibilities:
- Leads a large a overall team of approx 70 people with 15-20 direct reports
- Act independently with minimal supervision.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Assign work and review performance of team members as needed.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of transition strategies, planning, and implementation.
- Strong understanding of standard, industrial methodologies and frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Experience:
- Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in transition strategy and planning or a related field.
- Previous experience of managing a Transition portfolio in their prior career
- Proven track record of leading and implementing successful transitions.
- Experience working with Managed Services technologies and solutions.
- Experience in a consulting or client-facing role
