You will report to the Senior Manager, Documentation

You will work with software engineers, UX designers, product managers, and other doc team members to create great user-facing content.

DITA, Oxygen XML, Content management system, Jira, Confluence

• Write technical content that describes product functionality
• Compile and test online help
• Create project plans, maintain schedules for specific projects, and communicate documentation status to documentation manager or lead
• Develop tutorials to improve first user experience
• Work with partners to deliver meaningful error messages, useful UI strings, and develop clear terminology
• Contribute how-to articles, knowledge base articles, videos, walkthroughs, and other useful content
• Contribute to documentation team processes
• Collaborate on projects with other technical writers

• Experience with any content management systems (Tridion).
• Experience working on databases, SQL, Eclipse, XML, application servers, ERP, CRM, and data warehousing
• 2+ years of relevant writing and editing experience.
• Experience with Agile development cycles.
• Knowledge of DITA specializations, style sheets, XSLT transformations.
• Experience working with a translation team to produce PDFs and online help in multiple languages.
• Understand the customer requirements and ensure that they are implemented into the documentation.
• Project management skills.
• BE/ (Engineering, humanities, social sciences).
