As a Wealth Management Credit Risk Associate within our global team, you will lead the planning, management, and delivery of global projects. You will collaborate with stakeholders across various functional groups to define and document business requirements. You will also develop technical solutions using various programming languages and tools. This role provides an opportunity to apply your strategic consulting, project management, and Python development skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Job responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, management, and delivery of global projects. Develop and execute robust project plans, applying project management methodologies pragmatically. Utilize a clearly defined delivery roadmap, ensure thorough documentation, and deliver project artifacts. Maintain robust financial and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage progress against a defined plan, identify challenges, and mitigate potential cost or time delays. Ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders across various functional groups (e.g., Business, Compliance, Legal, Technology, Middle Office, Business Management) to define and document business requirements.
- Plan and oversee the testing of new functionalities and regression testing with Risk partners. Ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to project specifications.
- Provide regular updates on project status to management and stakeholders. Prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
- Analyze process flows, identify areas for process improvement, and document best practices to manage continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop solutions using Access, Excel, VBA, SQL, and advanced Python programming. Leverage these technologies to automate processes, enhance data analysis, and improve overall project efficiency.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proven experience in strategic consulting, management consulting, project management, process improvement, and product management.
- Demonstrated experience in leading small to medium-scale project execution and management. Familiarity with end-to-end bank infrastructure, including front office, technology, operations, controls, data management, and risk.
- Experience in end-to-end implementation projects, including assessment, planning, project management, execution, and evaluation.
- Ability to influence a cross-functional, diverse environment to drive change and challenge the status quo.
- Strong skills in preparing status reports, establishing effective project communication plans, and ensuring their execution.
- Experience in risk analysis and driving operational change/system development.
- Proficiency with Access, Visio, SQL, VBA, and Excel with macros knowledge. Advanced experience with Python programming for data analysis, automation, and solution development.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Expertise in Python for data manipulation, analysis, and automation. Experience with libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn is highly desirable. Proven experience in Python development, including writing and maintaining code, debugging, and implementing best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience with tools like Alteryx for data blending and advanced analytics, and Tableau for data visualization and dashboard creation is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CFA, FRM) are a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of combined experience in project management and Python development, including writing and maintaining code, debugging, and implementing best practices.
