This is a great position for someone who can easily scale up and down their thinking architecturally to bring customer-centric solutions to market by intellectual leadership and influence on technology, product and business teams. You will be leading a significant piece of Transportation technology and will work on some of the initiatives planned to support our rapid evolution and growth of the network and solve some of the most challenging problems. You will regularly interact with Senior Leadership across the company and will be overall responsible for driving the technology vision and roadmap for services owned.Key job responsibilities
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of engineering experience
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systemsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with enterprise software architecture, and development technologies including Java and relational databases
- Solid experience with Agile methods, Cloud based architectures, mobile technologies is a plus.
