By joining Citi’s Execution Platform business, you will be a key member of the team.
What you will do will be varied day to day, but the key drivers for the role are:
- The Equities Execution Risk Officer is a senior role, responsible for the design, implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Citi Execution risk and control (“R&C”) framework, in collaboration with Platform teams, Trading & Sales Trading teams and Second Line of Defense.
- Drive the deployment of robust and automated limit management systems, and ensure a global approach to the Citi Execution R&C vision and ensure its simplification, in collaboration with Second Line.
- Responsible to review, document, follow and mitigate, if required, current live risks; these include Second Line mandatory risks limits as well as Business related controls.
- Development of data management and visualisation tools to allow efficient and comprehensive risks limits review and maintenance.
What we will need from you:
- Demonstratable experience of leading, strategizing and ensuring effective implementation of R&C frameworks, systems and data management capabilities, in a complex environment to achieve business outcomes and drive efficiencies.
- Experience gained in a directly related environment, e.g. real time risk management and trading decisions, or broader experience gained across but not limited to e.g. Capital Markets, Fintech or Technology industries.
- Proven track record of handling large and complex data sets and the delivery and implementation of new data management capabilities, and establishing decision-making workflows on a global scale.
- Strong technical acumen, with a hands on and detail-orientated approach to data management and implementation; with a focus on driving innovation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and an ability to communicate advanced concepts in a concise and logical way.
- Ability to influence a diverse population across the organisation, and across geographies, products and matrixed reporting lines; including with Senior Management.
