As the Developer Relations Manager, you will serve as the Single Threaded Leader (STL) of a multi-disciplinary team, spearheading developer engagement strategies that align with both regional and global objectives. Your role combines strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of local developer ecosystems to drive impactful initiatives across community building, marketing, and technical advocacy. Key responsibilities include:* Leading and mentoring a diverse team of Community Managers, Field Developer Marketing Managers, and Developer Advocates
* Crafting and executing comprehensive developer engagement strategies tailored to regional needs
* Collaborating closely with global and regional developer relations leadership, sales leadership, field marketing teams, and cross-functional partners
* Overseeing community engagement efforts and guiding localized marketing campaigns
* Recruiting top talent, establishing KPIs, and representing AWS as a thought leader in developer engagementA day in the life

* 8+ years of hands-on technical experience (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
* 2+ years in a customer-facing or developer community facing role
* 5+ years of experience in people management and leading cross functional teams
* Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies and the developer ecosystem
* Excellent communication and public speaking skills, with experience delivering technical content to developers of varied backgrounds

* Experience working in a global technology company, preferably in cloud computing or developer tools
* Track record of building and nurturing developer communities
* Proven ability to influence without direct authority across multiple stakeholders
* Data-driven approach to decision making and strategy development
* Familiarity with the Indian tech ecosystem and developer landscape
* Willingness to travel as required
