In this role, you will work with multiple Global Communications team members to support a variety of programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with Corporate Communications in content curation and compilation for a variety of internal and external communication vehicles (including company blog and social media channels)
Partner with Philanthropy to create and post philanthropy content on company blog and social media channels
Assist in execution of philanthropy event calendar and encourage employee engagement with events such as:
LLS Light the Night, Paws for a Cause, etc.
Tracking/distribution of supplies/giveaways for events
Scheduling WWB team members for event set-up/breakdown
Work in WestGives responding to employee questions and volunteer sign-ups
Support H.O. West Foundation giving program
Support financial reporting of philanthropy grants and support with company sites
Performs other duties as needed, based on business need.
Basic Qualifications:
Currently obtaining Bachelor's in Communications (PR), Marketing Communications or related field
Experience: 0-3 years of experience
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience in Microsoft Office 365 (including PowerPoint) and SharePoint
Top-tier writing skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
Availability for Fall Semester 2024 and/or Spring 2025 semester (15 hours per week)
