Develops, maintains and controls a realistic master production schedule by balancing marketing requirements with manufacturing capacity and parts availability.
Perform “What if” analyses to aid in optimal scheduling, priorities and decision making.
Assists production supervisors with the implementation of the production schedule.
Prepares reports, presentations and graphs with monthly operating summaries for planning and execution of meetings.
Attends and participates in Forecast, Allocation, Inventory, Supplier and Delivery meetings.
Communicates and follows up on issues related with components availability.
Communicates production planning issues to relevant areas as Marketing, Production Control, Customer Service, etc.
Requirements
Must have a Level 8 degree in related field (Business, Supply Chain or other).
A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar planner role within a manufacturing environment.
Buyer/Planner experience in an Electronics/Healthcare manufacturing industry an advantage.
SAP experience essential.
Advanced Excel skills essential.
Data analytics an advantage.
Strong communication skills with the ability to plan strategically across production.
