This position can be based in either Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Grow and maintain strong relationships with customers through a balance of hunting and farming strategies
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes to identify new business opportunities
  • Actively engage with consultants, contractors, and key customers through face-to-face meetings, calls, and presentations
  • Deliver technical support, solution selling, and product presentations to drive customer adoption and promote a technology-first mindset
  • Effectively communicate the technical features and business benefits of our solutions
  • Create value-driven proposals and differentiate our offerings to meet customer needs
  • Develop and implement a 3- to 5-year strategic business plan for the region
  • Build and maintain a strong professional network across all relevant decision-making levels
  • Lead contract negotiations and support customer-specific product and service portfolio development
  • Act as the escalation point for customer complaints, ensuring prompt and effective resolution
About You:
  • 5+ years of local sales experience in the medium voltage or associated industrial sector
  • Strong understanding of medium voltage switchgear and protection devices (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Previous experience in account management with strong sales, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to analyse customer satisfaction data & develop corrective actions
  • A good knowledge of contracting and tendering procedures
  • Knowledge of relevant statutory body requirements and Australian Standards within the industry
  • Exceptional relationship and rapport building skills (essential)
  • High level technical capability and understanding
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience working in electrical industries in NSW and ACT will be advantageous
  • The ability to regularly travel intra and interstate
