Your key responsibilities

  1. Legal Counsel – General Counsel Office (GCO)
  • Draft, review and negotiate a variety of agreements and contracts;
  • Conduct legal research and provide legal advice on various subjects (mainly Cambodia law).
  • Manage mandatory reporting, licensing and other regulatory compliance for the Cambodia Office.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to provide legal support for various projects and initiatives (mainly for Cambodia office)
  1. Risk Management Officer – Risk Management (RM)
  • Research on relevant local requirements (mainly Cambodia law) and provide local input on RM-related policies.
  • Assist in the development, update and review of key RMpolicies/ documents in accordance with applicable legislation.
  • Assist Indochina RM team to formalise/ perform RM compliance program/RM audit.
  • Assist Indochina RM team on RM daily tasks (conduct compliance & risk assessments; monitor compliance with the applicable rules and regulations, compliance reviews, and generate relevant documents/reports).
  • Deliver training and learning to raise awareness of risk management and compliance programs and tools.
  • Analyse and determine our key risks under the Enterprise Risk Management model, in line with EY Global guidelines, and develop relevant recommendations and solutions to mitigate areas of risks.
  • Provide advice and respond to queries on RM topics.
  • Support Indochina RM team with other ad hoc risk management activities.

Job Requirements

  • Cambodia Bachelor’s degree in Law
  • At least 3 years of experience in inhouse office or law firm (preference)
  • Good command of English, especially in writing and reading
  • Highly motivated and responsible
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detailed-oriented, energetic and teamwork spirit
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
