Job Description:

-Manage project sourcing activities. Lead supplier price negotiation and drive cost saving activities through VE/CE etc
-Select and manage required suppliers who have the capacity and capability to meet the material needs of the business
-Plan and execute supplier negotiations to obtain best-in-class pricing, terms and conditions
-Establish a continuous project deck pipeline and conduct regular reviews to deliver to an Annual Operating Plan
-Implement practices to enable technology-driven processes including e-Auctions of major spend opportunities. -NPI sourcing related, including supplier selection, setting up product cost and supply chain for mass production (including all required admin things like contract)
-Trade compliance related, Once a year COO update with detail back data and handle Korea Custom audits
-Buyer activities support, PO releasing & delivery pull in

Qualifications

-Experience in an automotive, industrial, similar global high-mix manufacturing business
-Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Supply Management/Sourcing/Procurement people management role
-Experience building and leading global sourcing teams with an emphasis in Korea
-Experience with factory start-ups and/or improving sustaining operations
-Working knowledge of the regional Asia-Pacific supply base
-Fluent in both English and Korean
-Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred
-SAP/Oracle functional experience
-CPM or CIPS certification is a plus.
