As a Cost and Commission Services Associate in the Cost and Commission Services Team, you will support the development and expansion of our strategic cost calculation and analytics platforms to provide automated solutions for cost transparency, client commissioning, billing and analytics. This spans global functions and stakeholders, feeding into a number of key areas such as savings initiatives, reconciliations, cost accruals and allocations, payment processes and controls.

You will support the analysis, design and planning phases, defining requirements, completing testing and executing delivery of strategic solutions. You will manage the integration of new solutions into existing processes across internal Operational functions, Front Office and Finance, with stakeholder management forming a key part of the position.

Job responsibilities

  • Analyzes and documents current versus future state processes and workflows
  • Defines optimum end to end operational model including key controls
  • Partners with technology to collate business requirements and translate into technical solutions, supporting full technology lifecycle (requirements definition, UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to production deployment)
  • Contributes to working group discussions, providing stakeholders with progress updates throughout the project
  • Presents project highlights, risks and issues to managers via clear and concise communications
  • Determines and implements solutions for cost transparency, allocation and reconciliation
  • Identifies areas of inefficiency for process improvement
  • Supports the change management agenda

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Business Analyst who is an extremely detail orientated self-starter, with strong analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, be flexible, organized and prioritize work
  • Skilful at evaluating and improving processes, synthesizing information to reach logical conclusions, documenting and presenting findings
  • Demonstrates proactive communication with global and local stakeholders
  • Strong data analysis skills, conversant in Microsoft Office suite, Alteryx, SQL, Tableau

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Knowledge of trade and execution lifecycles
  • Knowledge of the software delivery lifecycle (Agile)
