If you are a skilled Mechanical Design Student, we have an exciting opportunity for you in our Mechanical Engineering Department. You will help us create innovative Networking solutions, work with professional and dynamic colleagues, and have a meaningful influence on the final product. You will also learn about different manufacturing technologies and how to design creative electro-mechanical solutions. What you’ll be doing:

  • Learn to design mechanical components for several manufacturing technologies, as CNC machining, sheet metal forming, extrusion, plastic injection, die casting and more.

  • Participate in the development of sophisticated mechanical solutions, including PCB design and various enclosures.

  • Take part in various engineering activities, such as assembly instructions, manufacturing drawings and DFM process (design for Manufacture)

  • Conduct various mechanical verification tests and generate qualification reports.

  • Work in a lab and get trained to operate high precision measurement equipment.

  • Visit and work with mechanical component suppliers, and integration sites.

  • Assist in designing assembly and test fixtures.

What we need to see:

  • Pursuing 5th -7th semester in BSc. Mechanical Engineering

  • Skilled in 3D CAD, such as SolidWorks, Inventor, etc.

  • Fluent in verbal and written English and Hebrew

  • Dedicated with a steep learning curve

  • Capable of working solo or in a team

  • A handyman, able to work with tools.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Design experience in a multidisciplinary organization.

  • Proficient in using stress simulation tools.

  • Strong academic performance in Mechanical and Thermal courses.

  • Familiar with statistical tolerance analysis methods, CTF dimensioning, and geometric tolerancing.
