What you'll do

As an Senior/Expert SOC Engineer (f/m/d), you will be responsible for designing, building and operating the SOC's security monitoring solutions. Your experience will enable you to quickly understand and integrate new and proprietary technologies on premise and in the cloud domain into the architecture.

Your responsibilities

• Development of the technical target architecture for the SOC
• Implementation, configuration and documentation of the SIEM and SOAR
• Connection and configuration of data and alert sources
• Creation of technical workflows and playbooks as well as their automation
• Implementation of measures from security incidents and security analyses
• Consulting on the design, introduction and implementation of processes
• Collaboration with SOC analysts
• Design of technical and organizational evidence for IT security audits
• Troubleshooting and rectification of technical problems

What you bring

• Proven experience in SOC design, architecture and the operation of SIEM solutions
• Proven experience in the area of SOAR / automation
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Azure services
• Knowledge of Python, Powershell, KQL or other languages
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code platforms such as Terraform, ARM template, Bicep, Ansible
• Ideally knowledge of current IT technologies as well as solutions in the area of IT security
• You have fluent English - and ideally German skills, both written and spoken
