Technical Specialist (Senior)

In this essential role, you will play a key part in identifying training needs, designing curriculum, and delivering engaging training sessions. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, the ability to captivate an audience, and a proven track record in designing and delivering effective training programs. This role is crucial in empowering our audience with the knowledge and skills necessary to leverage technology solutions.

Excel VBA; Power platform – Power Apps , Power BI, Power Automate; Sharepoint; RPA (UI Path); Alteryx; Gen AI; Prompt Engineering; Design Thinking

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging training sessions on requested tech stack.
  • Create detailed training materials, presentations, and resources that align with learning objectives and desired outcome.
  • Lead training sessions and workshops, ensuring participants a positive and interactive learning experience.
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure training content is accurate and relevant.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training delivery, making necessary adjustments to improve results.
  • Work closely with Talent and department managers to ensure training initiatives support organizational goals and objectives
  • Track and report on training metrics and KPIs to evaluate the impact and ROI of training programs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, and advancements in technologies.
  • Managing training logistics, including scheduling, facilities, materials and resources

Required skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Training, Human Resources or a related field.
  • Over 3 years of experience as a training specialist or a similar role in corporate training and development.
  • Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to collaborate effectively and build credibility with diverse groups of people
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Training and Development, Organisational Psychology or similar.
  • Certification in training and development (e.g. CPTD, CPLP, ATD Master Trainer).
  • Project management skills for managing training initiatives and timelines.
  • Knowledge of current trends in training and development.
