Job responsibilities
  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Analyze, verify, and document current state and future state account opening flows to align with business requirements and acceptance criteria for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, testability, and conformity to standards
  • Partner with Technology teams to present the defined product scope and build to deliver high-quality products to our end users
  • Track and monitor product performance; uncover, understand and masterfully leverage analytics insights to continually improve the experience and reach/exceed OKRs
  • Understand, manage, and communicate prioritization of features and components
  • Responsible for driving plans to refinement, execution, testing, and deployment
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Outstanding ability to understand the end user problem space with empathy and collaborate and influence Experience teams to uncover valuable solutions
  • Technical experience driving software engineering teams and strategy is a must
  • Strong tangible experience working heavily with a wide range of cross-functional partners on a daily basis and leveraging those relationships for excellent work product
  • Passionate and vocal, balanced with a willingness to learn and collaborate and work across all levels and backgrounds
  • Ability to influence stakeholders with diverse points of view and maintain grounded and productive discussions, including senior leadership level audience
  • Structured thinker, effective communicator, concise and impactful with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines and calmness under pressure
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Consumer Banking domain knowledge or related deposit account opening experience
  • Demonstrable experience working in financial services, retail banking, acquisition, digital products, online and mobile platforms, etc.
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field
  • Evidence of strategy ideation, development, and execution
