Job Summary
As a Wealth Management, Single Coverage Client Advisor, Vice President in the China Market team at JP Morgan, you will be responsible for supporting and managing all aspects of client relationships across the team. You will operate in both banker and investor capacity, handle and coordinate with various teams on account inquiries and investment-related aspects, and deliver strategic messages to your portfolio. You will also collaborate with other team members to provide high-quality client service and ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies.
Job Responsibilities
- Support and manage all aspects of client relationships across the team; develop and maintain long-term relationships through professional/personal networks and contacts.
- Operate in both banker and investor capacity, and handle/coordinate with various teams on both overall account inquiries/maintenance as well as on investment-related aspects.
- Articulate and deliver strategic messages to their portfolio, prepare presentations and proposals, and take both solicited and unsolicited orders in all asset classes. Update clients regularly on markets, portfolio performance, investments opportunities, risks.
- Partner with the client including (but not limited to) updating Know Your Client (KYC) information, client suitability profile, hosting client meetings, monitoring funds/asset transfer and handling client ad-hoc queries.
- Collaborate with the other integrated team members to provide a high quality of client service.
- Keeping track of Clients, Assets Under Management (AUM) and Revenues using our internal systems; periodic calculation of account performance.
- Work together with other teams in meeting all compliance, regulatory, risk management, operational, and due diligence requirements and compliance with internal policies.
Required Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in wealth management space, along with strong client and stakeholder management skills is required.
- Understand and have working knowledge of the private banking key regulatory and control environments that are relevant to the team and be able to manage the accounts accordingly.
- Proven client management skills and effective communication skills (oral and written) who can positively engage and influence clients as well as internal stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, and must be a team player and able to work with different business functions across the bank.
- Operate with a high level of integrity and risk awareness.
- As the role is an important contributor to the strategy of JP Morgan, comfort and experience working with and reporting to senior management is required.
- Fluent written and spoken Business Mandarin is essential to support Chinese speaking clients from China.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities
- Appropriate local regulatory qualification and licenses preferred. However, if you do not possess an existing Representatives Notification Framework (RNF) Register in Singapore, you will be required to sit for Client Advisor Competency Standards (CACS) Paper 1 & 2, in order to get registered as a Representative with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) for the private banking industry.
- Strong knowledge of local regulatory policies and guidelines.
- Strong knowledge of relevant financial markets and instruments.
