Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a Field Marketing Leader, you’ll build market engagement plans in a geography to drive business pipeline and revenue objectives based on a deep understanding of clients and the local market. Your primary responsibilities include:- Design and execute local marketing and communications plans to support go-to-market strategies.
- Demand generation for business with deep understanding of audiences and an omni-channel approach
- Lead a team of talented field marketing professionals and build a culture of innovation and inclusion.
- Brief, enable, and collaborate with sales, clients, IBM Partners, and/or external/internal stakeholders.
- Measure, analyze, and report on the impact of field marketing activities.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 15+ years of marketing experience in the B2B technology arena
- Prior experience building complex, high-tech marketing strategies and demand-generation initiatives through modern marketing tactics. This includes campaign planning, execution, and attribution.
- Business- and results-oriented, with experience in building marketing and business strategies to drive growth
- Data-driven and analytical in a highly competitive market, being able to analyze and determine focus and opportunity areas to drive plans to commit to objectives based on results
- Growth mindset in a highly growing tech market, thinking outside the box to create demand and accelerate business outcomes
- Strong relationship skills—ability to negotiate and execute in a complex and matrix organization
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams both internally and externally to drive breakthrough innovation
- Strong program management experience
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, agile marketing environment.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience in field marketing or B2B tech marketing roles.
- Understanding data-driven technologies, including AI, machine learning, and cloud solutions.
- Experience managing and executing Tech industry events and conferences.
