The ideal candidate will be a seasoned senior manager with a proven leadership record and demonstrable ability to influence across different partners. You will build and handle close relationships with top app partners and help existing partners grow their business on the App Store by providing data-driven actionable business guidance and adoption of new technologies. You will advocate for developer-centric platform improvements based on developer feedback, market research, and internal analysis. You will set a concrete strategy with clear objectives for each of the team members, track and communicate progress, adjust course when needed, and coach team members to ensure success.
- The position requires a self motivated individual who adapts quickly to change, navigates shifting priorities, and delivers results under pressure.
- A proven ability to lead and inspire the app business management team, especially in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
- High integrity and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant industry work experience in business development, management consulting, strategy and planning within the mobile internet industry, digital content, or application development.
- Expertise in subscription-based business models, membership programs, and monetization
- Ability to prioritize and scale revenue-driving efforts, and translate data-driven insights, financial analysis, and strategic initiatives into compelling business narratives for internal and external stakeholders.
- Solid track record of successful project management and business negotiation, working across functions to achieve goals.
- Deep curiosity and the ability to anticipate trends and future shifts in the app ecosystem, with fluency in standard business models, technology, and knowledge of the competitive landscape.
- BA/BS degree
- MBA is a plus
