Description
As GST Compliance Analyst you would be responsible for preparation and submission of all relevant GST declarations within designated tight deadlines- Analysis of relevant declarations in line with other Trade Compliance areas.- Reconciliation of GST general ledger accounts.- Preparation of reconciliations of various GST declarations ensuring compliance is maintained and proven at State and Country level.- Managing all queries received from GST Authorities and formulating responses within appropriate deadlines.- Gaining a thorough understanding of the processes and systems to isolate potential opportunities for automation and efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications
- Chartered Accountancy or Bachelors / Masters Degree in accounting / tax from a reputed school
Preferred Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience with excellent analytical, communication, presentation and organization skills.
- Attention to detail and proven ability to meet tight deadlines is essential.
- Accounting or tax qualification & experience
- Previous accounting experience an advantage.
- This role requires exceptional levels of interrogation and an ability to interpret large volumes of information.
- Systems (Excel, SAP/other ERP) and projects experience are important.
- The successful candidate must be motivated, flexible, a self-starter who works well both individually and in teams.
