As a Cloud Support Engineer, you'll solve complex technical issues for our customers applying best practice solutions. In this strategic role, you'll assist carriers and their customers with issues related to the products. We provide second-line support to carriers around the globe. Like Singtel, Optus, Vodafone, AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and others.

As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Working with internal cross-functional teams to solve technical problems for our customers
• Acting as a trusted technical advisor to our customers
• Solving technical problems
• Demonstrating Akamai's value, and communicating clearly and effectively to both technical and business audiences

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have some experience providing technical solutions and support and familiarity with a ticketing system
• Be familiar with the Internet, including technologies and fundamental protocols such as DNS, TCP/IP, VPN and HTTP
• Demonstrate great communication skills with fluency in the English language - C1 level
• Be curious by nature with a robust desire to constantly learn new technologies
• Be an effective team player willing to collaborate with people across the business
• Experience working with SLA's
• Be available for on call out of hours in an existing on-call rotation
