Description
You will play a key role in designing, developing, integrating, and launching next-generation touch sensing technologies. Your responsibilities will include:Lead efforts to architect design characterization, test and validation plan.Contribute to sensor technology scoping and proof-of-concept investigations. - System-level problem solving - failure analysis, root cause & corrective action proposal.Design of Experiments (DOE) creation, execution and data analysis.Use scripting skills to automate data collection process and extract key information from data analysis.Frequent business travel required (Primarily within China. To a lesser extent USA).
Minimum Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering + 3 years of industry experience.
- Fundamental knowledge of sensor physics, circuit design, linear algebra and statistics.
- Solid scripting skills (i.e. Python, MATLAB or C, Python preferred) for design characterization & experiments.
- Strong communication (written & verbal) in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in sensor design preferred. Any background in touch sensor would be advantageous.
- Comfort with a fast-paced environment and appetite for innovation, rigor & healthy paranoia.
- Team player with the ability to work independently and drive things with minimal direction.
- Leadership skills, ability to thrive in ambiguity and align efforts across teams.
