The Difference You will Make:

As a, you will work with the Regional Director and leadership team to develop and execute strategies to grow the success of the Airbnb Platform in China. You will also align the functions operating in your country behind common objectives and work with other teams in the organization on cross border projects. Your attention to detail, organization, ability to multitask, work on multiple priorities and work under pressure will all ensure you succeed.


A Typical Day:

  • Provide senior business leaders with analysis and insights from Airbnb’s marketplace and external data
  • Translate complex findings and results into a compelling narrative about this highly strategic, fast-growing market
  • Coordinate and support annual planning, regular business reviews, OKR tracking, and risk/opportunity analysis
  • Initiate critical projects and support long-term business strategy planning
  • Scope new business opportunities and recommend actionable business levers through quantitative analysis, industry benchmarks, and competitive research
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and share insights to various country-level initiatives
  • Manage a broad set of stakeholders, ongoing communication of the right content to the appropriate audience (technical and non-technical)
  • Democratize data by building and socializing decision tools (dashboards, reports)
  • Effective communications with key stakeholders including Business Leaders, Finance, Marketing, Research, Product, and Operations during daily collaboration

Your Expertise:

    Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English
  • 10+ years experience in business analytics, strategic consulting position, or project management, hospitality or online Travel Agency (OTA) industry is preferred
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking; sensible to both internal and external data trend change and able to identify the implications to the business
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, marketing, growth operations and enablement teams
  • Pay attention to both details and macro-level outcomes
  • Seasoned internal and external communicator with strong interpersonal skills to influencer stakeholders
  • Thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and handle ambiguity and uncertainty with minimal guidance.
  • Data driven, can do attitude, strategic thinker and passion for new products and solutions
  • Comfortable with Excel, SQL and Python
