SAP QA Engineer - Global Technology Legal Compliance

What you will do:

• Evaluation of software packages using SAP’s software scanning / auditing tools.
• Review of open source license information & other license relevant documentation/files based on scan results (or other research).
• Performing code audits for various types of compliance relevant artifacts: license text, terms of use pages, cryptography, etc.
• All necessary training will be provided for qualified candidates.

What you should bring

• B.S. (degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent)
• 2+ years of software test/QA experience, or development experience
• Technical competence with at least one object oriented programming languages such as C++ or Java.
• Ability to read/review different source code languages and other software objects to make decisions based on understanding the implemented functionality.
• Adept at complex problem solving and extensive research skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work with diverse/cross-functional teams
• Candidates who have experience using and contributing to open source software projects will be highly favored.
