Blink is looking for a senior embedded engineering leader to support our current generation of products and lead blink device software for our next hardware generation. To succeed in this role, you will be a senior leader experienced in building consumer electronic devices. You will understand power management and understand how to make risk trade offs on design, staffing, requirements, and time. You will work across partner team located across the world and together the next generation of blink devices and services.
Key job responsibilities
As a leader of leaders, build and develop an organization that includes software managers and engineers including hiring, retention, performance management, mentoring and capability/skill development.Lead architecture, design, implementation, and operational support of tools and services.Evaluate complex business and technical requirements, and communicate inherent risks and solutions to technical and non-technical business owners and internal/external customers.

- 10+ years of engineering experience
- 5+ years of engineering team management experience
- 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment
