STET-QPE GEMBA Senior Engineer
Overview:
As a project manager you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects within the specified timeline, budget, and scope. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies.
As a Gemba Improvement Specialist you will be responsible for facilitating continuous improvement initiatives by working directly with the value chain & operational level where value is created, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities (What will you do):
- Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional who has hands on experience of a supplier quality engineering, project management and also production processes optimization experience (Onsite Gemba) to join our team.
- As a project manager you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects within the specified timeline, budget, and scope. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies.
- As a Gemba Improvement Specialist you will be responsible for facilitating continuous improvement initiatives by working directly with the value chain & operational level where value is created, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and customer specifications.
Qualifications (What you should have):
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. PMP certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a manufacturing or operational environment, preferably in a role involving project management, process improvement & Lean implementation. Solid understanding for certain commodity including material and process.
- Plastic knowledge is preferred.
- Knowledge of BOM cost structure and Should Cost. Experience in cost reduction program is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Lean principles, Kaizen methodologies, and Gemba philosophy.
- Proven ability to identify opportunities for improvement, analyze complex problems, and develop practical solutions.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving measurable improvements in quality, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or related methodologies is a plus.
- Willingness to travel and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
