Tasks are focused on extensive and timely logistics. They will include but are not limited to:
Working with coordinators cross-departmentally to set best practices that enable us to move quicker, bigger and better
Leading on talent logistics such as booking travel and negotiating glam; updating itineraries; supporting junket, premiere, press day and film festivals activity
Tracking budgets, raising POs and managing invoices
Assisting with meeting schedules and facilitation, including help putting together presentations and coordinating audiovisual needs
Tracking top press coverage on key titles; updating various lists, documents and charts on the department’s google drive; and other duties as assigned
Liaising with various external stakeholders such as global PR agencies, press, talent reps, plus internal executives and country publicists
Handling incoming press requests as/when needed including assigning screeners/setting up screenings; responding to enquiries; servicing assets
The successful candidate has/is:
At least 3 years of entertainment publicity experience at an agency or studio
Confident and concise communicator who is not scared to speak up and express ideas thoughtfully
Organised, excellent attention to detail and proactive
Scrappy, resourceful and relentless in trying to find a solution before escalating issues
Able to anticipate potential problems and knows when to ask for help
Aware that the world of publicity is not a 9-5 job
Able to effectively manage your own time and heavy workload, all while maintaining a cool head under pressure
Able to demonstrate good judgement and maturity
Able to pivot and adapt to shifting priorities without missing a beat
Open to receiving feedback and adapting
A positive contributor to the overall publicity team
Able to function effectively as a part of a loosely coupled but highly-aligned team
A basic understanding of the UK & EMEA media landscape
