Reporting to thetherole is responsible for technical and solution-oriented work, with a strong focus on project management to oversee the successful execution of data-related projects

What a typical day looks like:

• Interfaces with customer or supplier in new project start-up, for cost of ownership issues.
• Tracks materials' financial performance and initiates corrective actions when required.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to support data ingestion, transformation, and storage processes.
• Optimize ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and efficiency.
• Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
• Manage and administer databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and develop technical solutions that meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure the availability of high-quality data.
• Oversee data engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
• Communicate project statuses and challenges to relevant stakeholders.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Fluent English skills.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Notions of supply chain or similar areas.
• Proficiency in SQL development and experience with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in data manipulation libraries.
• Project management skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
