What skills and qualifications do I need?
- 5+ years of experience working within or alongside holding group agencies.
- Positive reputation and relationships across senior leaders at agency holding groups.
- Vast knowledge of the Japan media industry landscape, with a digital specialisation.
- Proven track record of obtaining and closing high value sales opportunities.
- Outstanding persuasive communication and presentation skills, with strong ability to communicate complex solutions to a range of audiences.
- A win-win-win mindset of exceptional collaboration, positive engagement, and focus on success through new business development.
- Deep understanding of the tools used by agencies to trade digital campaigns: data, brand safety, brand lift, DSPs, measurement, targeting and more.
As Agency Development Director, you will:
- Be the custodian of Taboola’s relationships and sales success with holding company and major independent agencies.
- Nurture and maintain positive, productive relationships with leaders of holding company and major independent agencies.
- Plan and execute partnership programs with holding company and major independent agencies, and with select direct clients, to influence and motivate advertisers’ business strategies.
- Build and deliver programs to educate agency teams on Taboola’s solutions.
- Discover and unlock new sales opportunities for Taboola’s Enterprise teams within holding company and major independent agencies.
- Support, coach, mentor and guide Taboola’s Enterprise sales teams’ toward their sales success within holding company and major independent agencies.
- Expertly collaborate across Taboola to communicate and inspire progress toward the needs of holding company and major independent agencies.
- Nurture and maintain positive, productive relationships in our DSP demand partners to empower our sales success with programmatic buyers in holding company and major independent agencies.
- Own, deliver and communicate the revenue target from holding group and major independent agencies, as well as select direct clients, and work with all departments to ensure sales and revenue success.
