Software Engineer Innovation

We are seeking a talented C++ software engineer with innovation expertise to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing meaningful innovations for minimally invasive procedures. Working in a small and skilled multidisciplinary team, you will define new solutions for clinical challenges, and have the chance to shape the future of clinical interventions and improve patients’ lives.
Your role:

• Create new concepts and clinical prototypes, focusing on hands-on Software Engineering in a front-end innovation study team.
• Refine concepts together with clinical customers, clinical scientist, marketeers, and business developers.
• Create value and impact by delivering meaningful innovations, intellectual property, and solution transfers, contributing to Philips growth.
• Contribute to advancing the skills of your team

You're the right fit if:

• You hold a BSc, MSc, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• You have a minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in developing solutions in C++
• You have an innovators mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and strong business acumen.
• You are both a team player and able to work independently.
• Experience in image processing, computer vision and/or artificial intelligence is a plus.
• Experience in the clinical domain, particularly minimally invasive treatment, is a plus.
