As a senior manager in our quality engineering practice, you will work across our consulting teams to identify, sell, design, and lead end-to-end, complex, functional and automation test engagements in Wealth and Asset Management Sector.
Your primary focus will be to work with our leading clients and their executive teams to define delivery approach, design, plan and execute functional and automation testing services and to support large scale agile transformation programs that drive growth and deliver long term value. You will also lead business development, driving discussions with clients and delivering market leading ideas and proposals to clients.
You will design the approach to delivering the engagement, assembling teams to deliver each work stream. You will also manage the relationships with clients and guide the overall delivery of value to clients. You will manage multiple high performing teams and lead the development of careers of colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and direct quality engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain robust testing strategies and processes, and ensure they are properly implemented and followed.
- Participate in planning, estimation, and scheduling processes for all testing activities.
- Ensure the execution of functional, integration, system, and regression through Manual and Automation test processes on wealth management applications and platforms like Aladdin, Charles River etc.
- Develop/Customise automation frameworks using BDD/Cucumber, JAVA to perform functional/regression/Data migration test cases.
- Review application designs, requirements, and specifications to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Implement and manage quality control standards, methods, and procedures to ensure the software meets both technical and customer requirements.
- Identify, analyse, and mitigate risks related to software quality at each phase of the software development process.
- Coordinate with different teams, including software developers and project managers, to understand and incorporate their input in the testing processes.
- Maintain a detailed record of test results and relay these results to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Manage resources effectively ensuring on-time delivery of products.
- Mentor, coach and train the quality engineering team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Continually research and implement best testing practices, tools, and methods.
Technical/Functional Skills:
- Candidate should have good knowledge on Investment Banking/Capital Markets/Finance domains. Added advantage to have knowledge on FIS, Blackrock Aladdin or any other banking/financial services products
- Good knowledge of automation testing frameworks like Selenium, Cypress etc and Write Efficient, Maintainable and Optimized Automation code for UI and Backend Services.
- Experience in managing Medium/Large scale testing projects for wealth/capital markets products and services using functional automation test processes.
- Knowledge of project management tools like JIRA, TFS, Azure DevOps
- Must have good knowledge of Java/JavaScript and TypeScript
- Have good knowledge of relational database.
- Experience of using GIT (push, pull, fetch, clone etc.) as source control
- Must have Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Exposure to AZURE dev ops, CI/CD integration
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical skills.

To qualify for the role, you must have.
- BE/BTech/MCA/M.Sc.
- Minimum 14-16 years of total experience in quality engineering in which 5+ years of experience in managing Medium/Large scale test engagements.
- Hands-on experience in creating and maintaining frameworks.
- Working experience in Agile environment
