Job Description
The role of IT Infrastructure Consultant is a specialist role and involve the following roles and responsibilities:
- Conduct needs assessments and analyze existing technology environments.
- Develop technology strategies that align with client goals and industry best practices.
- Provide recommendations for technology investments, upgrades, and improvements.
- Lead project teams in the execution of technology initiatives, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget.
- Manage technology projects from initiation to completion, coordinating resources and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to provide informed recommendations.
- Conduct research to evaluate new tools, methodologies, and frameworks that can benefit clients.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and results.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within client organizations and propose actionable solutions.
- Contribute to the development of consulting methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Desired Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of hands-on experience on Cloud, VMware and Wintel technologies
- Should have understanding of Data Centre and IT Infrastructure technologies (Virtualization, Compute, Storage, Backup etc.)
- Should have understanding of Cloud Platforms – AWS, Azure, GCP
- Should have understanding of OS Platforms
- Should have understanding of Database platforms
- Should have conceptual understanding of DevOps, Containers, Edge Infrastructure etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience:
Education:
- B.Tech. / BS in Computer Science
Technical Skills & Certifications:
- Relevant OEM Level Certifications from:
- Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Google Professional Cloud Architect).
