General Summary:

• Support ISV’s and WOS (Windows on Snapdragon) customers with providing technical guidance on product features & enable them to adopt quickly.

• Support testing/reproducing/analyzing and resolving technical issues with WOS products in BOOT/BIOS stage such as Peripheral’s, Connectivity, system Stability, performance, and multimedia.

This includes working with technology teams to provide a complete solution and/or solutions to the issues in timely manner.

• Support customer bring up, focus on BIOS/UEFI, triage, analyze, debug issues like crashes, hang, customization in UEFI/BOOT

• Support setup complex end to end infrastructure to test system in BOOT/UEFI. Develop end to end test plans to test complex applications mimicking customer setups.

• Performs root cause analyses & debugs issues on customer software/hardware systems.

• Supports in test development and execution activities on new OEM hardware. This including end to end testing and troubleshooting end to end issues.

• Engage with customers to understand their design requirements, provide training, publish documents.

• Interact with (SME) Subject Matter Experts to ensure the quality and accuracy of new features.

• Designs, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs software programs/UEFI applications for enhancements and new products.

• Develop tools and applications on Qualcomm platform that help debug and trouble shoot issues. Preforming validation to make sure the platform compliance with interoperability with peripherals and applications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

• 3+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

• 3+ years of experience with debugging techniques.
