Job Description

So, what will you will be responsible for?

• Development of Business cases to ensure the right IT and digital investments deliver business value.
• Implementation of digital pilots around the use of innovative new technologies in the area of Shop Floor Automation, Data Analytics and visualization.
• Identifying and realising data, visualisation and information opportunities for the site to enable process Improvements, regulatory requirements, proactive process monitoring etc.

The ideal person will have:

• Content within the College course covering:
  • Computer System Validation / Compliance experience
  • Programming experience
  • PLC/DCS experience

• Experience and interest in recent developments in Automation, Data Analytics and Big Data applications in Manufacturing (e.g. Industry 4.0 / Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT))
• Ability to work with all levels of business customers in a highly dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of the practical use of some of the following technologies
  • PowerBI, Spotfire
  • DeltaV, PLC/SCADA
  • PowerApps, PowerAutomate
  • SQL, Oracle, mySQL, AWS, SharePoint
