In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

As an Application Developer, you will be working on translating system requirements into the design and development of customized systems in an agile environment. You’ll have the opportunity to gain experience working with various design systems, such as IBM’s Carbon design system.

Your Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Leveraging modern tools and techniques to develop clean, efficient, and reusable software code
• Ensuring quality and timeliness of deliverables by employing strategies such as code reviews, unit tests.
• Work in an agile, project-centric, team-focused environment
• Involvement in technical and architectural decisions that shape the course of the project
• Involvement in product shaping decisions and empowerment to propose new features
• Coaching, educating, and advocating frontend development best practices
• Continuously learning new technologies and methodologies

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3+ years of Software development experience
• Proficiency working with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, SCSS
• Work experience with React or Angular
• Good knowledge of APIs (REST, GraphQL)
• Experience in testing and resolving performance concerns
• Knowledge of team Git workflow and version control
• Feeling comfortable in Agile / DevOps environment

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience/Knowledge of additional programming languages/frameworks (such as Node.js, or Python)
• Experience working with design tools (such as Figma, InVision)
• Experience working with project management tools (such as JIRA, Monday.com)
• Understanding of deployment process and tools (Jenkins)
• Cloud certification
• Pro-active involvement in IT communities and events

• Monthly salary for this position is from 4514 EUR gross to 6223 EUR gross*.
