Your Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a vital liaison between our global team and clients. Collaborate proactively to understand their requirements and provide tailored, innovative solutions.
  • Offer unique perspectives on innovation to act as a catalyst that drives our clients' businesses towards a competitive advantage within their markets.
  • Operate seamlessly within our dynamic and diverse international teams. Adaptability and collaboration are key components to effectively achieving project objectives and meeting defined timelines.
  • Be prepared for occasional travel to client sites in order to gain an in-depth understanding of client processes and formulate strategic solutions and quick fixes.
  • Convert business requirements into robust, compliant, and effective documentation.
  • Coordinate with peers and internal customers to ensure MES Implementation aligns with business requirements during user acceptance testing.
  • Develop validation test cases and perform testing to ensure quality control and assurance.
  • Develop and provide comprehensive operational and technical training. Train site users and Business SMEs to effectively use our solutions.
  • Provide technical and functional support to user groups to address day-to-day issues.
  • Offer on-call support for emergency system issues to ensure minimal disruption to internal customer operations.
  • Utilize your problem-solving skills to troubleshoot both routine and complex issues, providing swift and effective solutions to support internal customers.
  • Exhibit strong leadership qualities including coaching, conflict resolution and providing exceptional service to customers.
  • Participate in BD and proposal preparation.


Skills and attributes for success
9 or more years of significant experience within MES in manufacturing industry and extensive experience within the following

  • Experience in the use, administration, and installation of GE Proficy software and Microsoft server software, including Proficy Plant Applications, Operations Hub, Industrial Gateway Server (IGS), Config Hub, Historians collectors, Web Client – Enterprise (Docker) and Standard versions, Thick clients, all Version 2021 and above.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL server 2008 and above, including TSQL experience, enabling effective execution of queries, understanding of Proficy Plant Application table structures and query tables and views.
  • Familiarity with PTC Thingworx installation/upgrade and experience with Windows Server 2019 and above, including general administration and network knowledge.
  • Solid foundation in Window Active Directory and Proficy PA/Ops Hub security.
  • Experience with RedHat 7.8 and 8.2 or Ubuntu 18.X.
  • Understanding of manufacturing business functions like Production tracking, Quality Management, Maintenance, Downtime tracking, Waste Tracking, etc. In addition, need to manipulate the production data like Delay, Waste and other Performance indicators etc.
  • Must have experience with Desktop applications, Web applications, Windows services, Mobile emulators (needed for barcode scanner application) and related package
  • Strong understanding of business management and leadership principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficient time and project management skills.
  • Ability to analyse processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional service to customers and support to staff members.
  • Understanding of different client needs, sectors, and business processes.
  • Demonstration of experience providing detailed and complex root-cause analysis support
  • Ability to maintain systems hardware and software as required.
  • Experience in preparing written reports and technical evaluations, functional specifications, technical documents, proposals.
  • Ability to independently or cooperatively work on projects, depending on project scope.

Ideally, you’ll also have

Degree emphasis in Electrical and Electronics Communication, Mechanical or Computer Engineering
