As a Pre-Sales System Engineer you will:
Play an integral role in new business solution pitches, foster long-term relationships, to achieve enterprise-wide deployments of Fortinet solutions and deliver meaningful results for all parties involved.
- Pre-sales: Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint, understanding customer requirements, and providing relevant technical information
- Sales calls: Serve as the primary technical resource during sales calls, addressing customer inquiries, educating them about features, specifications, and functionality, as well as integration possibilities
- Demonstrate proficiency in networking applications and solutions, highlighting the value proposition of Fortinet products and services
- Post-sales: Act as the main technical contact for assigned accounts, actively engaging with the technical support team and engineering to promptly address and resolve customer's technical issues
- Provide post-sales training and ongoing assistance to customers, ensuring they can effectively utilize Fortinet solutions.

- Must have minimum 5 years experience in pre-sales along with degree in computer engineering or equivalent
- Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Must be able to deliver presentations to CXO's, Partners etc.
- Must be able to interface seamlessly between Sales and Presales team/Customers/Partners: Requires good Technical, Presentation and PR skills.
- Excellent Hands-on experience on AWS, Azure, GCP and OCI is a must. Public Cloud Certifications would be preferred.
- Must have working experience on IACs like Terraform
- Must have experience developing Cloud Security Solutions/Architectures for born-in-cloud customers as well as customers who are migrating/extending their on-premises Infra to cloud.
- Must have exposure to DevSecOps along with associated tools like CI/CD Pipepline(s), GitHub etc.
- Knowledge of programming would be preferred.
- Excellent Hands-on experience with deploying at least NGFW, WAF, CASB, CSPM, App Delivery Controllers in the Public Cloud environment.
- Must have K8S/Container working experience.
- Must be able to deliver technical training to partners.
- Must be able to create use-cases basis the available solutions and the different type of existing/potential customers.
