Key Responsibilities:

Create Brand connection & product desire via innovative storytelling & publishing, rooted in sport, culture & real-time consumer engagement.

  • Execute the publishing strategy across owned, paid social and partner channels according to the global brand and category calendars.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute local content production to land relevant stories in Central Europe.
  • Manage social platforms and other external partners to drive the publishing strategy, and brand and category calendars.
  • Plan and execute bespoke publishing content creations for own and partner channels around campaign productions, brand events or brand activations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Brand communications categories, PR, key city, eCommerce, Membership, Categories, Sports Marketing, Culture Marketing) to create brand relevant content pieces that matter for the consumer
  • Manage seamless process from brief, creation to sign-off and publishing. Champion the need for authentic branded content that’s relevant for the target group, true to the brand, insight led, innovative and that creates impact around key campaigns and sports culture moments.
  • Work with media agency and comms responsible to deliver best-in-class media planning and execution and ensure that all campaigns and content are fully tagged and tracked to support measurement

  • Brand adidas: EU /Global Newsrooms (inc. PR, Editorial and Content, Analytics & Partner Publishing)
  • Brand adidas: Global/EU and local brand communication/activation + Marketing (inc. Media)
  • Brand adidas: PR, Sports Marketing and Culture Marketing
  • Sales adidas: Global Key City teams, Digital Activation Team, Membership team, Customer Service & Data Analytics
  • External partners:creative agencies, clubs/federations, athletes/partners media agency


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong team player
  • Proven experience in content creation and publishing for social
  • Experience in managing & briefing agencies
  • (Advanced) project management skills
  • Advanced experience and continued curiosity with all major social media networks: Instagram, BeReal, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok, Twitch etc.
  • Keen understanding of the wider publishing mix: owned, earned and paid
  • (Detailed) knowledge & passion for Sport & Culture as well as the entertainment industry
  • (Advanced) presentation and organizational skills
  • Confident in capturing and editing short videos on iPhone
  • Creative, collaborative, and confident
  • Proactive, hands-on and solutions orientated mindset
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English language skills

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital or a related field
  • 5+ years’ industry and / or relevant work experience
  • Competent in Microsoft packages
