Citi Private Bank Investment Operations Analyst – Corporate Actions and Income Payments (C10)

The overall objective of this role is to process and monitor execution, settlement of transactions, maintain the records on client accounts, assess, analyze and/or evaluate processes and data as well as reference data management such as securities creation/maintenance and asset pricing function.

Job responsibilities include:

* Processing, verification and record keeping for investment products based on the provided documentation/instruction.

* Create and process until final settlement various kinds of income events or corporate actions.

* Prepare and dispatch announcement letters for income events or corporate actions.

* Collect clients’ instructions (in case of corporate actions) and pass to custodians.

* Collect event proceeds (cash, stock) and distribute to clients.

* Support Investment Operations in daily activities.

* Investigating discrepancies and ensuring strong internal controls.

* Support reconciliation efforts, identifying the root cause of potential cash / stock breaks and escalating further, if needed.

* Identifying inconsistencies in the process and mitigating risks in a timely and efficient manner.

* Maintaining communication and relations with internal and external key stakeholders from multiple locations.

* Respond on incoming inquiries related to income events and corporate actions.

* Support direct superior in escalation efforts, acting as supervisor of the process.

* Contributing to the completion and maintenance of procedures and SLA.

* Participation and coordination of the UAT test for new systems / products or functionalities.

* Perform control over automated processes.

* Actively raise/promote improvement initiatives that further automate/simplify our daily job and increase its quality.

* Contributing to business goals.

* Being responsible for a variety of complex tasks delegated by superior.

If you are a motivated, dedicated person who has:

* Min. 2 years of experience in corporate actions area (shared service center experience desired).

* Securities processing experience - will be your great asset.

* Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent professional experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance.

* Knowledge on securities and capital markets.

* Understanding of Investment Products and Financial Markets.

* Fluency in writing and speaking English (Polish would be your great advantage).

* The ability to learn quickly and willingness to acquire new skills.

* Very good computer and MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook).

* Team Player attitude with great communication skills and leadership potential.

* Understanding of working in a fast-paced environment.
