Required/minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in technical architecture, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales
  • OR relevant certifications from Microsoft or competitive platforms AND 3+ years experience in technical architecture, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales
  • OR 5+ years experience in technical architecture, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of technical experience in ANY of the following:
  • Applications & AI (e.g., Agentic AI, Tensor flow, Pytorch, or related)
  • Data (e.g., Azure SQL, Cosmos, Databricks, or related)
  • Infrastructure (e.g., cloud migration efforts across workloads, or related.)
• 3+ years experience working in a customer-facing role.
• 3+ years experience working on technical projects.

Additional or preferred qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in technical architect, consulting, design and implementation, and/or sales
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 4+ years experience with cloud-based solution designs, migrations and management of technology.
• Technical experience and knowledge in Enterprise-scale, technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management. Proficient in .Net, Java, JavaScript/Node.js or Python development languages and related frameworks
• Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications)
• Data Azure Certifications:DP-600 Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate or DP-700 Fabric Data Engineer Associate or DP-420 Azure Cosmos DB Developer or DP-203 Azure Data Engineer Associate or DP-300 Azure Database Administrator Associate
• Apps Azure Certifications:AI-102 Azure AI Engineer Associate or AZ-204 Azure Developer Associate or AZ-400 DevOps Engineer Expert
• Azure Certifications:AZ-305 Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AZ-104 Azure Administrator Associate or AZ-700 Azure Network Engineer Associate or AZ-500 Azure Security Engineer Associate or AZ-800 Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure

Digital Cloud Solution Architecture IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $51.15 - $97.88 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $66.15 - $107.02 per hour.

• Engage with customers to understand their business goals and map Microsoft solutions and services to desired outcomes.
• Accelerate solution delivery and adoption through value-based engagements and reusable intellectual property (IP).
• Support customer readiness by leading technical sessions, workshops, and skilling activities that promote operational excellence and cloud adoption.

You will exhibit experience and knowledge in one of the following areas: Applications & AI, Data, or Infrastructure, with working knowledge across the others:

Applications & AI:

• Design and implement AI and application architectures using frameworks like Agentic AI, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud-native patterns (Application Programming Interfaces [APIs], containers, microservices).
• Apply AI management and security practices, including GenAI Ops, monitoring, and governance.
• Stay up to date with Azure, AI, and DevOps/GitHub capabilities. Maintain knowledge in one or more enterprise languages like .NET, Java, JavaScript/Node.js, Python, or related.
• Troubleshoot and optimize applications using Microsoft best practices, escalating to support or engineering as needed.

Data:

• Build and manage solutions using Microsoft Fabric, real-time analytics, BI, and Azure databases (SQL DB, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL).
• Lead migrations from on-premises platforms (e.g., Teradata, Netezza, Exadata) and Hadoop to Azure, including Databricks integration.

Infrastructure:

• Partner with customers to co-develop secure, scalable architectures using the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), Unified Support, and Cloud Migration Factory (CMF).
• Address technical blockers and competitive challenges by collaborating with engineering and specialist teams.
• Lead cloud migration efforts across workloads (Windows, SQL, Linux, PostgreSQL, applications) with a focus on resiliency, security, and compliance.
• Maintain experience and knowledge in hybrid solutions, including Azure VMware Services (AVS).
