Installation, configuration, service and maintenance of fire alarm devices

Creation and maintenance of relevant as-built documentation

Identifying sales and service opportunities

To keep technical knowledge current – may require additional activities, such as self-learning on technical products

Key Experience & Capabilities:

NZQA fire protection qualifications or considerable experience (3+ years) in the fire alarm protection industry

A comprehensive understanding of fire alarm protection systems including fault-finding and diagnostics

Confident knowledge of New Zealand fire standard NZS 4512, building and service regulations and statutory obligations

Sprinkler systems and/or fire suppression experience will also be highly regarded

Ability to communicate complex issues with clarity, both written and verbally

Ability to work under pressure and capacity to deliver against multiple objectives
