Key job responsibilities
• Execute the sales strategy of Amazon Devices in West region, offline retail channel.
• Own identifying, pitching and negotiating retail listing and distribution agreements that enable the sales of Amazon Devices through offline retail channel.
• Owns and leads engagements with senior leadership at retailers and distribution partners to support the continued growth and financial sustainability of Amazon Devices.
• Inspect processes and mechanisms across the team that track sales forecasts, determine allocations, and plan shipments for each SKU.
• Owns a voice-of-the-customer feedback mechanism to influence product roadmaps, product features and address customer pain points.
• Serve as the single threaded owner for all category distribution business reviews in his region.
- 3+ years of sales experience
- Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
- Experience closing sales and generating revenue
- • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- • Experience in negotiating contracts with distributors.
- • Experience in managing a P&L.
- • Adept at managing GTM execution till the last mile with zero defects.
- • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work successfully with teams across the organization, including field force, marketing, demand gens, category teams.
- • Ability to manage multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong bias for action.
- • Proven track record of cultivating existing sales channels & developing new channels to drive business outcomes.
- • Experience in consumer electronics retail, FMCG or consumer durable categories.
- • Highly analytical, including demonstrated ability to convert raw data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- • Ability to move fast to deliver organizational objectives in an ambiguous environment.
- • Excellent communicator and negotiation skills.
