You will be working with our most important customers on their Data Strategy and the modernization of their Data Estate across Analytics, AI Platforms and Data Governance. You will lead a virtual team of technical, partner and consulting resources to advance the sales process and achieve/exceed quarterly Data & AI revenue and usage/consumption targets in your assigned accounts.

We work with customers to leverage data to help them achieve their business priorities and help guide customer’s journey through Analytics-led Azure Data transformation. We also support customers in evaluating their applications and business requirements, recommend solutions that meet their requirements, and demonstrate these solutions to win the technical decision.​

In this role you will

- Developing Data/AI strategies for driving and closing strategic and/or prioritized opportunities.

- Leveraging and sharing competitor knowledge across solution areas as a subject matter expert to inform decisions on pursuit or withdrawal.

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND extensive technology-related sales or account management experience OR technology-related sales or account management experience.

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • Fluent in Spanish and English languages
  • Prior work experience in a Solutions Sales or Consulting position working with Data solutions ranging from structured/relational to semi/non structured data (examples: Cloud-based Data Warehouses, Hadoop, Spark, Data Lake), Data governance and Artificial Intelligence
  • Experience of selling to OR working in a banking industry
  • Data/AI estate workloads: Expertise in two or more data estate workloads like Microsoft’s Data & AI Platform (Microsoft Fabrics, Azure Databricks, CosmosDB, Azure SQL, etc.), AWS (Redshift, Aurora, Glue), Google (BigQuery), MongoDB, Cassandra,Snowflake, Teradata, Oracle Exadata, IBM Netezza, SAP (HANA, BW), Apache Hadoop & Spark, MapR, Cloudera/Hortonworks, etc.
  • Certifications with Azure Analytics, Azure AI or equivalent industry certifications preferred

Sales Excellence:

  • Connect with stakeholders to plan and review strategic accounts, ensuring everyone's voice is heard.
  • Innovate and build new markets by leveraging diverse expertise and resources. Lead a team to explore opportunities and optimize the portfolio for customer innovation.
  • Collaborate with sales, partners, and marketing to analyze business trends and target high-potential customers. Share your insights and perspectives as a thought leader.
  • Stay ahead by completing required training and sharing valuable knowledge with your team.
  • Review feedback and set strategies to maintain high levels of client satisfaction. Coach others on customer satisfaction and recovery plans to enhance the overall client experience.
  • Manage strategic accounts, lead forecasting, and mentor team members to drive success.

Sales Execution:

  • Lead campaigns to discover new opportunities and generate leads. Engage in Data/AI conversations with strategic customers to drive innovation.
  • Grow business with existing customers through demos, quotes, and collaboration with partners. Ensure rapid deployment plans are in place for licensing transactions and project engagements.
  • Build and govern an external stakeholder network, leveraging internal partners to engage decision-makers. Act as a thought leader and advisor to executive-level business decision-makers.
  • Assess customer needs and collaborate on solutions that align with their priorities. Analyze market trends to identify new opportunities.
  • Bring impactful industry insights into customer engagements and close deals. Lead virtual transformations and partner integration to create business value.
  • Develop strategies for closing opportunities and ensure alignment with account strategy. Lead deal execution and coach others on close plans to drive predictable deal closure.

Technical Expertise:

  • Focus on Analytics, BDs, Data Strategies, and AI to drive success.
  • Lead conversations and events within Microsoft, mentoring others and sharing best practices.
  • Share competitor knowledge and collaborate with global black belts to inform decisions. Provide feedback on product trends and sales blockers.
  • Speak at external events and drive conversations with prospective customers as a thought leader.

Scaling and Collaboration:

  • Lead sales orchestration with internal stakeholders and partners, building a network across territories.
  • Plan and execute opportunities with resources and partners to cross-sell and up-sell. Validate partner solutions and provide feedback to One Commercial Partner (OCP) to scale business results.
