Job Summary:
In this role you will be responsible for the full spectrum of fixed assets function of the Singapore Plant and support Accounts Payable function. This will be a contract role from 02 Jan 2025 till 31 Dec 2026.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Fixed Assets
- Ensure timely and accurate month end closing for all areas relating to fixed assets.
- Monitoring of CIP and aged CIP
- Prepare and maintain accounting ledgers, journals, schedules and reconciliation.
- Create & maintain WBS element, work closely with respective project owners on capitalization date.
- Maintain the fixed assets register including managing disposal of assets.
- Timely preparation of relevant supporting schedules for Quarterly Package and statutory reporting
- Assist in annual audit with the external auditors.
- Ensuring the company policies and procedures are adhered to for Fixed assets management
- Accounts Payable
- Responsible for Accounts Payable activities relating to the processing of incoming invoices and matching for selected vendors.
- Others
- Review and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley Act
- Drive continuous improvement throughout all areas of work.
- Able to work independently
- Able to analyze information with data given
- Any other tasks that are being assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- Diploma in Accountancy or similar qualifications (i.e. LCCI)
- Minimum 3 year of relevant experience in a factory and fast paced environment
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- SAP experience
- Fixed Assets experience in a Global MNC
- Preferably with Accounts Payable experience
- Strong interpersonal skills i.e. able to work across functions as well as across countries.
- Can communicate in English and Mandarin
- Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
