Negotiate contract terms – Negotiates the “legal” terms within supplier agreements and advises the Sourcing professional with respect to negotiating the “business” terms.
Within the parameters of authority granted by Honeywell’s Legal Department, draft simple and complex sourcing documents, including, but not limited to, supplier agreements, amendments, letters, notices, responses, and contract clauses.
Provide independent analysis to Sourcing, Procurement and internal stakeholders of contractual rights and obligations.
Contribute to the development of strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring provision of top-class service and high customer satisfaction.
Focus on the continual improvement in the speed, quality, and simplicity of contract formation and management processes, without compromising compliance.
Lead initiatives, as required, to transform and enhance the business and process capabilities of the Procurement Contracts Center of Excellence.
Mentor junior members of the team and Sourcing customers with respect to proper contract negotiation and administration principles.
Conduct business with the highest ethical standards, internal company policies, and local and international laws.

YOU MUST HAVE
3-5 years of experience managing/negotiating contracts.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Commercial contracting and procurement experience including Intellectual Property, Export Control, and Uniform Commercial Code requirements desirable.
