Finance Managerlocated inTralee (Kerry County), Ireland.

Reporting to theFinance Managerrole involvescoordinating/managingall activities related to month end, forecasting and budgeting of the incumbent organization in order to ensure accurate financial statements and forecasting in support of the business and in compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act. Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining systems, procedures and policies in order to ensure accurate data that is in compliance with corporate and legislative requirements.


What a typical day looks like:

  • Directs budget preparation and reviews budget proposals, ensuring accurate justification and documentation.
  • Generates and reports a comprehensive twelve-month rolling financial forecast.
  • Prepares financial summaries and forecasts to assess income, expenses, and earnings based on operational data.
  • Establishes strategic financial objectives and policies to support company goals.
  • Conducts detailed financial analysis and projections at both project and site levels.
  • Ensures compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations and prepares for audits.
  • Provides the senior leadership team with timely insights into the organization's financial health.
  • Advises management on operational adjustments and identifies opportunities for cost savings or profit improvement.
  • Prepares presentations for quarterly reviews and annual budget planning.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Typically requires Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in financial management or a related area
  • Demonstrated advanced functional and technical financial skills, with experience in manufacturing/cost accounting preferred
  • Experience with multi-VAT registration and international VAT tax rules
  • In-depth knowledge of financial reporting and compliance requirements
  • Ability to analyze financial reports and respond effectively to inquiries from stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex financial concepts to management and external parties
  • Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and statistical analysis
  • Proven experience in leading initiatives and managing P&L responsibilities
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic financial plans that align with business objectives
