Collaborate with suppliers worldwide to develop sophisticated, reliable solution for next generation e-beam tools.
Understand and drive system and subsystem requirement specifications.
Lead concept and detailed designs including design reviews.
Guide material and component selection for optical and opto-mechanical systems, precision drives and actuators and high vacuum systems
Propose feasibility studies and proof of concepts.
Drive the definition of test criteria and build test plans for functional prototypes.
Guide the release process according to KLA’s standard processes.
Work with multi-functional groups and lead system-level discussions including impact on overall system performance.
Lead problem solving activities at subsystem and system levels.
Minimum Qualifications
Educational Background: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
Experience: Validated experience working with electron optics, high vacuum system design, precision mechanisms or precision mounting of optical components, high voltage, and EBeam/Ion Beam/Charged Particle Beam.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with mechanical design tools such as SolidWorks, ProE, or AutoCAD. Proficiency with Mechanica, Ansys. etc
