Software (SWA) comprises the definition, specification, and allocation of requirements from different sources utilising knowledge of systems engineering processes (specification & architecture). Contains processing of use case and feature requirements into conceptual models, operational scenarios, technical requirements, and functional description. Covers specification, design, implementation, and unit testing of Software (e.g. device drivers, microcode, hardware-related software & firmware) according to the requirements and architecture defined in the systems engineering process. Covers establishment and maintenance of Software Configuration Management (SCM) practices into software development projects, continuously building and integrating infrastructure tools and systems.

• SW Development - Transport domain in areas spanning 5G,4G,3G,2G for classical and cloud products of Nokia BTS
• Skilled in resolving critical technical problems involving cross domain dependencies
• Technical representation of feature from the team and in Feature Owners Team
• Handling of feature delivery & maintenance topics
• Contribute towards areas of Innovation

• Must be BE/BTech/MTech in Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical/Information Science/Telecommunications/MCA
• Sound working knowledge on at least two of 5G/4G/3G/2G technologies
• 3 to 5 years of SW development experience in configuring transport applications and interworking with operability domain modules, know how in one or more areas of networking, L2, IPStack, IPSec, Firewall
• Working knowledge of Cloud Solutions Technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, etc in SW delivery process
• Deep understanding of OS and system software concepts, including processes, threads, memory management, and synchronization, and exhibit excellent debugging skills.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Software Configuration Management (SCM) environments, utilizing tools like Jenkins, Git and Gerrit.
• Proven experience with static and dynamic code analysers such as Coverity, Valgrind and others to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Team Player, self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, Automation tools & debugging tools;
• Experience/Interested in Machine Learning and its applications; Working experience in Cloud domains would be an added advantage.
