Description
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, evaluating, recommending, and implementing our chat product strategies. Through a Product Owner lens, you’ll use your creativity and technical acuity to define and build the desired experience, and will be the driving force behind growing the level of support we provide for our customers. Typical responsibilities will include:- Leading the end-to-end product management lifecycle for platform chat solutions, from ideas to execution.- Working with technical partners to define processes, features, and architecture that are flexible, scalable, and operationally reliable. - Presenting effectively with stakeholders, influencing and securing consensus and support from individual contributors and executive management.- Navigating through ambiguous situations with a clear, strategic approach.- Maintaining methodologies once in service to ensure their continued use and acceptable level of quality.- Analyzing data to extract key insights that can be used for continuous process and experience improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 7 years professional experience in product management (product ownership), with a focus on NLP chat, machine-learned systems, or sophisticated back-end and front-end systems; or equivalent experience in a technical field
  • Direct professional experience with conversational systems, including chatbots, voice assistants, and natural language processing (NLP) technologies.
  • Proficient in written and spoken Mandarin and English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends and driving innovation in conversational AI.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful products, sometimes simultaneously, in a fast-paced, tech savvy environment.
  • Sophisticated knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Applied experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, including backlog management, sprint planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize sophisticated data into actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and influence at all levels of an organization, whether with a peer or senior exec, via written, verbal, or visual means..
  • Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks, API integrations, and the technical aspects of building conversational systems that scale.
  • Solid understanding of customer experience (CX) and HCI design principles, with a track record of crafting intuitive, engaging, and effective chat interfaces.
