About you and your responsibilities

• Deep tech Expert in the Qualcomm Camera, AI , CV, SDK, Gen AI Stacks.

• Will provide local time zone leadership and support for ideation, customization all issues in this area.

• Provide expertise to local Aramco engineers in these areas

• Leverages advanced Software knowledge and experience to design, develop, create, modify, and validate critical embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs.

• Analyses user needs, software requirements, and time and cost constraints to design and customize sophisticated software for optimal operational efficiency.

• Designs and implements software sub-systems for complex, large-scale products and systems.

• Leads design, coding, and testing efforts to ensure that projects are completed to specifications and schedules.

• Performs highly complex code reviews and regression tests as well as triages and fixes issues to ensure the quality of code.

• Collaborates with individuals outside the software function (e.g., Hardware, Systems, and Test engineers) to increase leverage and design solutions that work with other components of a specific project.

• Writes detailed technical documentation for highly complex Software projects; reviews technical documentation for junior engineers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

• 8+ years of software engineering or related work experience (or 5+ years with a master’s degree, or 4+ years with a PhD).

• 8+ years of related work experience in the AI, Camera, or Computer Vision areas.

• Tech expertise in Qualcomm Camera, AI, CV, SDK, and Gen AI Stacks.

• Experience with architecture and design of large software projects.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C and C++.

• Experience with camera hardware or systems design and optimization.

• Strong understanding of Android OS internals and driver frameworks.

• Experience with Linux kernel and user space development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a technical field such as engineering or computer science or equivalent experience.

• 10+ years of experience building software and applications in the Camera, AI, or Computer Vision areas.

• Proven expertise in AI, machine learning, or deep learning, and video streaming AI applications.

• 5+ years in a technical leadership role.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Ability to design and implement software sub-systems for complex, large-scale products and systems.

• Deep understanding of IoT market trends and out-of-the-box thinking on AIoT solutions.

• Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve extraordinary results.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

• 2+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

• 1+ year of experience with debugging techniques.
